Haedong Yonggungsa Temple

Haedong Yonggungsa is one of Korea's most unique temples, famous for being situated right on the sea rather than in the mountains. It is one of the 3 Sacred Places dedicated to the Goddess Buddha of Mercy (Gwanseumbosal).

Visitors come here with the powerful belief that "at least one of their wishes will be answered" through heartfelt prayer. The temple embodies a beautiful harmony of the sea, the dragon, and the Goddess Buddha.

Jukseong

Catholic Church

This picturesque church is actually a famous K-drama filming set, not a real church. It offers a stunning, medieval-like coastal view where its red roof dramatically contrasts with

the emerald Gijang sea. Located in a quiet fishing village, it is a hugely popular photo zone and a perfect spot for a tranquil, scenic drive away from the city crowds.

Cheongsapo Daritdol Skywalk

This major Haeundae attraction, located on the Green Railway trail, offers spectacular views. Expanded in August 2024, it has become a must-visit spot for capturing sunrises and sunsets. The skywalk stretches 191m in a U-shape, 20m above the water. Experience the thrill on the transparent glass floor while viewing the five coastal rocks (Daritdol) leading to the marine lighthouse.
