Information for presenters

Oral Presentations

Presentations will have the following durations.

  • Plenary talks are 40 minutes including discussion and speaker change
    (35min talk + 5min discussion/speaker change)

  • Keynote talks are 30 minutes including discussion and speaker change
    (25min talk + 5min discussion/speaker change)

  • Invited talks are 20 minutes including discussion and speaker change
    (15min talk + 5min discussion/speaker change)

  • Oral presentations are 15 minutes including discussion and speaker change
    (10min talk + 5min discussion/speaker change)

Presenters are encouraged to use their own laptops, however the lecture room is equipped with PC supporting PowerPoint (ppt and pptx) and pdf formats. Please make sure to check your equipment before the beginning of your session to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Poster Presentations

The posters should A0 size (841x1189 mm) in vertical orientation. The poster boards will be marked with the number according to the poster list. Authors may mount their posters starting from 10:00 on the day of presentation, and all posters must be in place by 12:30. You are welcome to contact the conference assistants on site.

 

All posters must be removed immediately after the presentation and no later than 14:30. Any posters remaining on display walls after 14:30 will be removed and directly disposed.

 

Digital submission of poster files is not required. Authors should bring the printed posters directly to the conference on the day of presentation.

*Best Young Speaker Awards (below 40) and Best Poster Awards will be conferred for the papers presented at the symposium in order to stimulate young researchers.
